This policy explains what happens to information you send through this website. It is short because the site does very little with it.

Who we are
iCompute is a computer and phone repair business owned by Dale Barrett, located at 320 Central Ave #412, Coos Bay, OR 97420. You can reach us on (541) 260-2839.
What we collect
Only what you type into the contact form: your name, phone number, an optional email address, the type of device, and the description of the problem you send us. There are no accounts on this site, and we do not ask for or accept payment information through it.
How your message reaches us
The contact form is delivered by FormSubmit, a third-party form-forwarding service that passes your message to our email inbox. Your message passes through FormSubmit's systems in order to be delivered, and is then held in our ordinary email.
What we use it for
Solely to reply to you and to carry out the repair or answer the question you contacted us about. We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not send marketing email.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Two third parties are contacted by your browser when a page loads: Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces, and unpkg, which serves the 3D graphics library used on the home page. Those providers receive your IP address as a normal part of serving a file, as does our host, Cloudflare Pages. None of them are used by us to profile or track you.
Devices left for repair
Repair work sometimes requires access to the contents of a device in order to diagnose a fault, recover data, or confirm that a repair worked. We look only at what the job requires, we do not copy your personal files except where recovering or transferring them is the service you asked for, and we do not share them with anyone.
How long we keep things
Messages sent through the form are kept in our email for as long as they are useful for the job and for ordinary business records.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call (541) 260-2839 or use the contact form and we will handle it.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS and we take reasonable steps to protect what you send us. No method of transmitting or storing information online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will appear on this page with a new date at the top.
